CLT Institute

PURPOSE:

•         Provide educational opportunities to the membership and potential membership of the Association

ACTIVITIES/AUTHORITIES/DUTIES:

•          To recognize properly qualified persons with the professional designation of Certified Land-Title Searcher (CLS) or Certified Land-Title Closer (CLC)

•         Promote and maintain higher standards in the profession

•          Promote among members of the profession a greater pride in their profession

•        To formulate Rules of Professional Conduct, including rules of ethics, and to enforce these rules upon and for its members and candidates

•         To establish educational standards for the profession, which shall comprise all of the general fields of knowledge with which a member should be acquainted in order to understand and perform the function of his duties as a CLS or CLC.

MEMBERSHIP:

•          Who: Members consist of designees whom have earned the CLC or CLS designation through CLT.

•          Term: Annual

•          How do you get on the committee? Current designees are able to participate on the committee.

•          Who: Selected by the CLT Board
