The DFS is again looking at the use of designations as a matter of public protection. It seems that many individuals and entities in other lines of insurance are holding themselves out to have expertise where there is none. The Hearing will be held in Tallahassee on July 26th. FLTA attended the hearing in force and submitted written comments, which can be found HERE.
